A few months ago I heard one of my favorite podcasters mention that she went to marriage counseling sometimes with her husband, and I’m embarrassed to admit that I was a bit…scandalized. We're told that we can't look away from problems of the world: we must be knee-deep in activism at all times, constantly aware...but is it okay to step back? I’m scared that people will be mad at me, and my heart’s pretty fragile right now. This podcast hasn't been reviewed yet. To let things sink in before responding in a flash?
